To make Floris available to as much people as possible, we made several different versions:īasic: This is just Native gameplay with some added music, sounds and items. Due to all the different mods and features this pack has grown quite large in size, and asks a lot from your computer. Originally this pack started as a side project of my After Action Report (AAR) Me, Floris, but soon it had grown into a very full package in its own right. This is a combination of a lot of good mods created by the community, bringing them all together and enhancing your gameplay experience. The return per unit is relatively low, but invest enough and you'll soon have more denars than you know what to do with. Last bit of advice, I promise, is to visit the moneylenders after you put productive enterprises in every town and buy at least 50 acres in every town. Frankly, the only reason not to pick them would be cost and inability to train them. It also helps that they've got pikes longer than the longest lance, and the ability to switch to sword and shield. However, that full plate is top of the line and will ensure that they hold the line. That means these guys have significantly more experience and money costs. You can tell that these guys have a tier on the other two because of that I7. This makes them much more effective at dealing with archers or castle fights where walls and friendlies would obstruct the greatswords of the Guardia Ducale. Next up are the I6 Capitano de Ventura, who have one handed swords and shields. This makes him suited for dealing with open field situations where the only concern is shredding lots of infantry. From top to bottom, there's the I6 Guardia Ducale, who has a two handed sword, but no shield.

Taking a look at the Rhodok tree we can see that there's three dead ends of foot soldier. You may wonder, why all the variety? Well, there's dead ends and specializations to allow you to maximize short term power, and there's the seventh tier for late game overpoweredness. Troop trees can be seen in game via reports. Therefore, an I1 Vaegir Kholop is a recruit level infantryman, a C4 Swadian Ecuyer is a fourth tier Cavalryman, and an I7 Nord Aetheling is going to wreck your shit. The number indicates how far removed from recruit they are. Since you're here, some note on soldier naming conventions.
